Love … a small word for such a complex emotion. There is no simple explanation for it, because love is made up of many things. It cannot be measured, because it is a feeling…

All the money in the word cannot buy love; it has to be earned. It does not happen by wishing; it must come about naturally. Love is not an instantaneous emotion, but something that grows slowly between two people, maturing with time; there is no stronger bond between two people.

To love someone means being comfortable and at ease with them sharing confidence knowing that they will be understood and held in trust. It means respective each other’s dignity and never being demanding, but rather being willing to give, and accepting that which is given, graciously and with love.

To love someone means having a genuine concern for them, being able to sense that something is wrong without being told. Understanding the other person’s problem, moods, and “hang-ups,” and accepting all of them, even if you don’t quite understand. It is excusing their faults, because you know that their good points far outweigh the bad.

Love is always being there for each other with a shoulder to cry on, to give support when confidence levels are low, to give helpful advice when it is asked for, to know when to be silent and listen, or to give cheerful words of encouragement.

Love is sharing the food and the bad, the hopes and the dreams the amusing times and the serious times. It is doing things together, yet leaving room for each to grow as an individual.

How do we know these things about love? We know, because this is the kind of love you have given to me and the kind of love that I feel for you.

I am blessed with your love, and I will never take it for granted. I will strive to become an even better person and to always be deserving of your love, because I truly love you as I have never loved before.

Philippine CHILD LABOR Problem

4 million (16.2%) of 25 million children aged 5-17 years old were economically active.
2.2 million were in hazardous work.
Over 50% of the total numbers of child laborer are 5-14 years of age. Median age is just 10 years, that is 50% are aged 10 years and below.
The highest percentage of working children came from southern tagalong (11.5%), followed by Central Visayas (9.7%) and Eastern Visayas (8.7%).
The working children were composed of children aged 10-14 years old (1.9 million or 48%) and 15-17 years old (1.8 million or 46%).
There were more male working children (2.5 million or 62.3%) than female working children (1.5 million or 36.6%). Seven out of ten working children resided in the rural areas.
25.1% of the children worked in the evening or during night time. The proportion of children working during night time in the urban areas (39%) was greater than that in the rural areas (19%); more males than females.
More than half of the total number of the children surveyed (51.2% or 2 million) worked between 1 to 4 hours a day.
Over third of the children worked from 5 – 8 hours in a day and the remaining 9% worked for more than 8 hours per week.
About 2.4 million of working children were exposed to physical and chemical hazards and were in physical and biologically hazardous working places. 23% suffered from work-related injuries.
One third of working children did not attend school. Seven in every ten working children (65.9% or 2.6 million) attended school.
34% of these children dropped out from school and 22% reported that their work interferes with their schooling.
Two in every five working children stopped/dropped out of school. The ratio or male working child to female working children in terms of dropouts was 2:1.
Reasons given for dropping out school include loss of interest (31.4%), and high cost of schooling (28.3%).

Breastfeeding is the most natural thing a new mother can do for her baby. Breast milk is the best food for the newborn as it contains the perfect composition of fatty acid, glucose and protein its developing body and brain require.

Breastfeeding is also the most economical way to feed a baby. Breast milk is also always ready and a very ecological way to feed a baby as it involves no bottles or bags of any kind.

What is then the ideal schedule to have for a nursing a baby? The answer to this question might disappoint new mothers but in fact there are no schedules. The simple answer is that a nursing mother should adapt her schedule to the needs of her baby. A growing baby has different growing phases and may not show a regular schedule for the first few months.

Breastfeeding on demand is the best way to ensure that baby receives all he needs. The best way for a nursing mother is to put away her watch and clocks and get in tune with her baby.

When a baby is simply hatched-on the breast for cuddling, it is better to remove him from the breast. Most women give-up breastfeeding because they feel their baby is too often to their breast. If they could have made the difference between real feedings and just cuddling, they might have kept breastfeeding for a longer period.

As for anything else, getting the proper rest and keeping herself well hydrated is a must for the nursing mother.

Look in the mirror in just your underwear and assess yourself frankly. Which of these describe you best?

Shoulders, hips and waist about the same size. Not much of a waist -- boyish figure

Narrow shoulders wide hips -- pear shaped

Wide shoulders with medium or large breasts, wide hips, small waist -- hourglass

Wide shoulders, narrow hips -- top heavy

Large breasts, narrow hips -- busty and top heavy

Large breasts, ample hips and a tummy -- curvy

You can only wear clothes sized XL or larger -- plus sized

Once you know which category you are in, pick the swimwear that flatters that body type and you'll look your best during swimsuit season.

Boyish figure
If you are concerned about looking like a boy in your swimsuit, go all out feminine with frills and pretty prints. Ruffles add volume. Worn along your bust and at your hips, they give the illusion of curves. Pretty things up with string bikinis and girly prints. If you've got a cleavage, show it off with a plunging neckline. Avoid boyshorts or very high cut bottoms as these would not flatter you. If you are wearing a bikini, pick a light top and a dark bottom to balance your figure.

Hourglass figure
An hourglass figure? You don't really need help with swimwear with a figure like yours. Still, you can mess up your look if you wear ill-fitting swimwear or a bikini top or swimwear top that doesn't provide enough support for your breasts if yours are heavy. As long as you get enough support and the fit is right, swimsuit season is your season. Wear a bright bikini or a black maillot or a really teeny printed bikini. These are classics that you can get away with.

Top heavy swimsuits
